I can advise on all employee issues you may face. I appreciate as a small business with little knowledge on the subject you need expert advice that I am confidently able to provide to you. The types of issues you may face are grievances, disciplinaries, sickness absence, poor performance, unprofessional conduct, family leave, flexible working etc. Hopefully you would never find yourself in an employment tribunal however if you did, the first thing a Judge would ask is “did you follow you process” ? I.e. did you follow the process in your policy document. This is what I am here for, to provide you with the documentation you need and guide you through how to follow due process.
HR Audit
For a small fee, I will offer your business a complete HR audit on your key HR documentation. This will include reviewing a standard employment contract, an example personnel file and key policies and procedures. I will then feedback to you on whether you are compliant with current UK employment legislation and provide you with an Audit Report on what areas need action in order to be compliant and follow best practice.
Recruitment Support and Interviewing
It can be a daunting task to managers when they have a recruitment need within the business, especially when you aren’t sure where to start. As an experienced Recruitment Consultant I can support you with what job descriptions, person specifications and job adverts need to look like in order to attract the right candidates for the role you require. I am also available for internal interview support.
Performance Management
Every organisation needs to manage an employees’ performance, whether this be for a good or bad reason. I am there to support you in both instances. I can provide guidance on how to manage an individuals poor performance and also what tools to use in enhancing and rewarding performance. This also includes the support of carrying out performance appraisals and toolkits to use when doing this.

If you are unsure how to carry out a formal meeting with one of your employees due to sickness, misconduct or poor performance then I can step in and provide that expert HR guidance you need.
